I just took a 1.8t manual for a test drive. What a wonderful car. I did notice that with hard acceleration there was a soft but definite high pitched whistle or whine. I assumed that this was normal and due to the turbo but when I asked the dealer about it he said that I shouldn't hear anything like that. Is he right?
