Have had irregular wear issues with my S4 ever since delivery. Looking for further information. Have run tests(detail at bottom). Situation is:

- Audi delivered car with ~800mi (replacement for other S4) as new. P6000s on originally. Car is stock. Started noticing tire slap/cupping at 10K on these tires, hwy miles mostly, no memorable impacts. 2 or 3 of the tires show cupping - both fronts and passenger rear IIRC. Swapped the spare out for the worst one at 10K mi to get me until I can replace them. At 13K the noise is unbearable, 50% tread left, so I purchase S03s and all is quiet again.

- 14-15K total miles and I install Stasis/Koni suspension, lowering car 1.4" at all corners. Have car aligned and all true but one of the fronts which is .1 deg out of Audi recomendations. Dealer will not adjust subframe to bring into alignment(per Audi manual recommendations) even though I am paying for this alignment(new suspension). At 25K mi of highway driving these are also showing the same signs of wear, tire slap on the fronts with every rotation, slight noticible feathering on the edges of the rear tires(noticible after washing of car and driving short distances). Even with lowering and noticible toe out of all four wheels the tire wear is constant accross the surface from inner to outer, more than 50% tread remains, and noise is again unbearable.

- 26K swap for ES100s, back to quiet(and a big loss in responsiveness - but at least they are inexpensive and quiet). 26,400 mi the slap is faint but noticible again, have scheduled a service for next week to investigate again. Last visit at 22K found nothing, blamed the tires/inflation pressures.

I have done some recent tests while the car is on stands. Front pass driveline to tire edge has noticible wobble at speed, front drivers and rear pass also show slightly irregular rotation, slight out-of-roundness per each rotation. Rear driver is perfect. Checked subframe for misalignment and it is dead-on center.

My question is what could cause this type of irregular wear? I am guessing that a driveshaft(front pass) may be the issue as this is the most noticible area for noise/wear but does not explain the other two corners. Ruling suspension out since the first tires went at 13K hwy miles, before installation. Also wondering if the stock wheels are the issue. There have been no major impacts that I recall and the wheel outer edge appear to be fairly true, wheels/tires ballance well. I am baffled by this as I am now on my 3rd set of tires after 26K hwy mi and really need to figure this out. Dealer will help but does not spend much time diagnosing this(at least in previous visits). Any help appreciated...
