I am looking for personal experiences here. Anyone use one of these services? I put a fairly deep gouge in the rounded lip of one of my Azev's, and need some recommendations.
If someone has used a service, how did it come out? Color match? Cost? Etc. The damage on my wheel is only cosmetic.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

Two winters in a row, I bent wheels on my '91 Eagle Talon TSI AWD by running over potholes. Both times, these guys fixed the wheel for $75 plus $15 for mounting and balancing the tire. The wheels looked better after I picked them up than before they were damaged. Turnaround time was one day.
Rich D.

If you have their chain stores in your part of the country you can take your wheel to them to ask for the refinishing service. They gouged one of my OEM wheel and took it to one of their third party and had it fixed. After they got it back I could not tell where the damage was. Another option to consider.

Mike...
Talk to Barry @ Direct Tire. He has a place that he uses, very good (since I messed one of my Avantgarde wheels).
Wheel Collision Center (ads in most car mags) is good as well. My friend had 2 of his BMW 540i 6 speed wheels fixed with them.
What did you do with your stock wheels by the way? Maybe it's a good time to change to your winter wheels while these get repaired.
Eric
