Well for those interested, the car wash paid for my rims... well kinda. He agreed to pay $700 of the $1300 it cost for new rims. I got a deal with the distributor and only paid $850 for both rims. So $150 comes out of my pocket. I'm going to have the damaged wheels buffed to get rid of the marks and use them on the front end of the car until winters over (I won't get as upset if these get a dent from potholes).
I talked to the owner, whom still didn't believe the auto car wash did the damaged to my rims. We both agreed to run the car through again and what do you know... more gouges on my rims.
Attached is a picture of my car.

AKH Trading. If interested, call 562-691-0323 and ask for Allen Hsu. His price for the rims and tires was about $100 cheaper than anywhere else. Tell Allen that Ali refered you.
Ali
1.8T 230hp

There is a place here in the Chicago area that repairs damaged alloys. My wife butchered up one of the BBS RX's on her car (scratched and pitted about 1/6 of the way around the outside flat lip on a curb). I took the wheels off the car for the winter and sent them to this place and they did an amazing job. Even powder clear coated and baked the finish. Wheel looks dead-on like the other three. Only $125 bucks for the repair. I can get the name and number if anyone is interested.
-jamie

When I called wheelpower, their price with the tires I wanted was about $120 higher than what I ended up paying at AKH Trading. They also said that they don't mount tires themselves and I would need to Did you get the same comment?

I think the OZ makes the wheels and sells them to Hamman and Ottinger. So far I know Ottinger has
5 x 100 I'd think they would come out with a
5 x 112.

Well, I saw your post before I left work and didn't pay much attention. However, now that I am home, I would love to get the name and number to the place you speak of. I just hit a $&# &#$* curb on the way home! Argggghhh...that really #@%#'s!
Thanks,
Mike

You have to negotiate with them on price... I told them I know what a reseller gets them from and I didn't want to go through one. True, they don't mount the tires... but a good tire shop can do that for about $30-50.

Beautiful car my man. The a4 seems to look better and better everytime I see one. Classic. I also like the lack of tint. I have a black 1.8t and mine is tinted and it looks love, but silver without the tint is definitely the joint!

I feel ya on the tint. I saw a Silver 540 BMW with titanium (silver) tint... looked tight.
