Hey, crew. A few weeks ago(about three) someone on this forum had traveled to Sweden or Switzerland and picked up the European taillights while there. They are the similar to the 98' and 99' model year taillights, but their turn signals blink amber rather than red! This person gave me(and many of us) that parts numbers and suggested we try ordering them. Well, I tried today but the parts guy said that they do not show up in the database! Rats! Anybody else get this for an answer? Anybody have them, besides the kind guy who picked them up in Europe? Thanks!<p>JT 99' 1.8Tqms

I tried as well. When I told the parts guy that it was a european part, they told me they couldn't get European parts at all. I'm trying to find someone who has or has the ability to get them but haven't quite yet.

Hoppen Motorsports has been known to get Euro-only bits. Might want to give them a try.

I am not going there anytime soon, so I am afraid I can't help beyond the part numbers.<p>I could have them ship it here, but please be aware that shipping cost would be rather impressive, given the size (I have no clue HOW much it would be, but shipping from Europe is a ripoff). I fought with this one a lot. Called dealers in Canada, even UK. It seems that Audi put red blink even in the cars for European market. (could it be true?) Finally I found a friend of mine in Germany and I had him get them for me. Funny I got them second hand. A guy stationed in Europe was returning to USA and wanted to get rid of his european taillights. Anyway, I had my friend pay the dealer for the parts and I had them shipped to me in US.
