Z rated says 149mph. and over
W says up to 168mph.

So, what's the limit on the Z rated? Reason I am asking is because I am looking at the price of the SP5000 in 225/50/16 configuration.

Tire Rack: $101/each for 225/50/WR16
Discount tire: $98/each for 225/50/ZR16

Given the choice I would go with ZR but it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. Often find that you can only get ZR in one size and W in another. Normally Y runs in parallel with these though. Hope that makes some vague sense. Eddie might be able to say more.
