I posted a message awhile ago asking if anyone would be interested in a TAP Stage 1 chip group purchase, and it seemed that several people were interested. As a result, I took the initiative to speak to Chris Dunn from Bernhard’s Audi Performance shop located in PA regarding a Group purchase of a TAP stage 1 chip. I have good news, Chris said that if 3 people agree to make a purchase, he can cut us a deal. He can give us the chip at 10% off the regular price of $475 (a savings of $47.50), making the cost $427.50 + tax (if applicable) and shipping – This price includes the aftermarket air filter as well. <p>Chris also stated that members of A4.org who already own TAP products will receive a 10% discount for upgrades (i.e. upgrading from a Stage 1 to Stage 2.) 2 options......If you want the ECU that car with your car, they send a temp ECU that was reprogrammed to you, you send the your stock core ECU to them. They reprogram it and send your orginal one back to you so you have the actual one that came with your car - with and extra 40 hp! :-)<p>Otherwise, if you don't specifically want your ECU back, you can keep the reprogrammed one sent to you. <p>Either way, no downtime & you get an extra 40 hp!<p>-Larry

This is the same thing I coordinated on the west coast. The thing is you cannot go directly to TAP for a group purchase. You have to deal with the individual distributors depending upon your location. <p>In the case of the west, we must deal with Dick's Audi Performance in Castro Valley CA. Dick has already given a westcoast A4.org member this 10% off discount. For example, $475- 47.50 - 427.50 plus tax and shipping. If<br>you are close enough to pick it up you can save the shipping charge.<p>So, if your interested, and located in the western states, call Dick.
