The A4 on the lot had everything we wanted except for the computer and we bought it because we didn't want to wait the two months it would take for a 99 with a computer. Has anyone added a computer module to a car that didn't come with the option? Is it even possible? The salesman thought not. The service manager doesn't know and isn't too anxious to be helpful.

Any help/ideas are appreciated!

It was fun for about 2 weeks. Avg MGP is nice, but you can calculate that yourself on every fill up. Miles till empty is not exact (at least it gets to 0 before I run out of gas). Speed warning is just annoying. I hate the Current MPG figure because it makes me feel guilty anytime I press the gas. Time in car, look at the clock. Average speed, who cares. The check fluid sensors are cool, but I check my own fluids anyway.
You know as I write this, I realize that these are all opinions and you may really want these features on your A4. Well, I won't delete this now, but IMHO you're not missing much.
