I was just fliping through a Japanese Car magazine and found the link of BBS Japan. I can't read Japanese but here's what I assume they are claiming(I can read Chinese so I could pick out some of the charaters):

ACQ technology = Air Craft Quality
It is 25-35% lighter than traditional wheels, and they are 15X stronger.

If my conversion ratio is right, the BBS RG-R 18x8 with ACQ technology, which looks almost like the US RX version, costs around US$500-600 a piece. Of course, fitment might be a problem, since they might be made for Japanese cars. I have been dreaming about a set of 18's RX for sometime now, and the only negative I have heard is that they aren't strong enough. Maybe when I go back to Hong Kong in Christmas I'll ask around and see whether BBS makes those for Audi offset and fitment.

Along with the RG-R, they are some very handsome wheels with ACQ technology too. Let's pray that those wheels are coming to the states.
