Luckly, the wheels in question were my stock/winter wheels and they weren't in great shape to begin with. The SOS put some nice scratches in areas where I really had to scrub hard to removed some caked-on brake dust. Although the SOS pads are the only thing that cleaned the inside of one of my wheels that was covered with 1/8 in. of grease and dirt (no wonder why the car vibrated with these wheels on, this one wheel probably weighed 5lbs more than the others!).

I soon discovered that a dish sponge/scrubber worked pretty good to clean the inside of the other wheels. I cleaned 2 sets of wheels/tires and both had probably never been scrubbed like this before. Now I have some nice clean wheels waiting for winter to show up.

BTW, I have some new wheels showing up this week for my A4 that I have on order - I'll try a post pics when I get them. Too bad these wheels are going to sit in a garage until April or so. :-(
