View Full Version : LLtech 17" wheel tire package had 12-03-1998, 08:36 AM anybody using these? any good? what tires did you get with them? Fly Boy 12-03-1998, 02:54 PM The LL Tek package comes with P7000 tires and team dynamics wheels. All the team dynamics wheels are coppies of someone elses, and there not good ones at that. I recommend looking for the original manufacturer of the wheels you want and buying them for the same price. had 12-03-1998, 03:10 PM thanks decided to go with BBS RX 17x8's with mich pilots. these any good? Warren Wang 12-03-1998, 05:13 PM I have 17" Qualifiers. They weigh 18 lbs each, and are high quality wheels. I don't know what Fly Boy has against them. They're TUV certified, which is about as strict as any (street) wheel regulation gets, and I've not had any problems with them.
They look great, and LLTek is offering them for a good price during December. I got mine from a local Discount Tire. At 18 lbs each, they won't dramatically change your unsprung weight, if you care. Oh, and Toyo Proxes T1+ work great on the A4.
98.5 Wett RamAir'ed Santorin Blue 2.8QMS Fly Boy 12-04-1998, 12:21 AM Team dynamics wheels are not TUV certified. If they were the wheels would have been shipped with the TUV certificate. I had a set of DTM's and the quality of their wheel compared to the TSW Hokenheim(which is what they coppied)is severely lacking. For instance The TSW uses a real metal threaded aluminum locking nut. The DTM uses the cheasiest piece of garbage plastic nut attatched to a metal center plate. For the same price I'd get the TSW. You probably will never have a problem with your wheel, but it's the little things that indicate the quality. It is known in the industry as being one of the cheapest made wheels you can buy. Fly Boy 12-04-1998, 12:23 AM How can you have made a decision on something and then ask if they're any good. How can you compare a 450 dollar wheel to a 225 dollar wheel. Something isn't right here. had 12-04-1998, 06:52 AM because i hear they were great from others, but won't be out on til sat. so i the feedback here is inconsistent with what i have heard, i will reconsider. |
