Also interested in the same. I'm having to replace one Dunlop SP8000 due to a flat.Since I'll have different mileage on different tires, any comments on having a different set front from rear? i do like to drive up to the snow, so all - seasons would be a definite plus. (tho I was amazed at how good even the Dunlops were last winter with Quattro).

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Audi recommand different tire set with the Quattro system. It might put unnecessary stress on the Quattro system. Check your manual, I think it is mentioned in it.
P.S. I also have the P7000 SS, but haven't get any snow yet.

I read various opinions on the Pirelli 7000SS, the Michelin XGT Z4, the Dunlop D60 and 4000A+S, and a few others. No solid recommendations though. I've never purchased all-season tires for a car before (Jeep owner) and would like your opinions as to 1) what you recommend, and 2) what you would absolutely stay away from. Thanks in advance for any help. BTW, I live in BC, Canada and get a fair amount of rain and some snow and ice.

I would not use the P7000SS if I did any significant winter driving, particularly not if you use a plus size. Although I STRONGLY recomend seperate winter/summer tires, I will say that the Pilot XGT series is deffinetly superior to the P7000SS in the winter, but gives up some dry handling. Another option would be the Yokohama AVS Z4., or perhaps the Bridgestone RE940.
HTH
erik
