I am probably going to buy the R-28s from Ronal, but I want to get a wider tire than the standard Pirellis that come with the package. I have had really good luck on other cars with Yokohama tires, so I will probably munt YOKOs on the R-28s. But I cannot remember what the what the different numbers stand for anymore (been too long since I have bought different tires sizes). What tires size should I be looking for, and what would be a good all season Yokohama tire to mount on the R-28s? Also are there any disavantages to going with a wider tire? The R-28s must be pretty big, since Ronal pictures them on Ford Explorers too!
Thanks in Advance for your Help!

I have 17x7.5" wheels, and I'm running Toyo Proxes T1+, in 225/45ZR17. If you go to 235/40, you could have rubbing problems. Also, ask yourself if you really need that wide of a tire. I hate to say it, but A4's don't have enough hp/torque to justify going over 225/45ZR17, especially if you have Quattro. Anyways, that's the size the S4 uses...
98.5 Wett RamAir'ed Santorin Blue 2.8QMS
