I need it to install my Clarion 9375 headunit on a bose system with the bose amp. Anyone got info on that please help also...
Thanks Sean G 12-08-1998, 04:23 AM I haven't pulled my factory head unit out but I seem to recall someone saying that the diagram is on top of the unit itself. Take a look.
Sean
97 1.8Tqm Jason M. 12-08-1998, 07:43 AM Funny, I just installed a Clarion VRX8271 into my 97 2.8qm with Bose. You need to convert the line outs to RCA plugs and then they can plug into the back of your radio, Sean is correct, the diagram is on the radio. I needed two ground loop isolators, as I was getting a pop noise everytime I changed the radio station, however with the isolators, I've had no problems whatsoever..
HTH
Jason
KevinL 12-08-1998, 01:47 PM How did you do the wiring? Did you tap line out from the amp then convert it to RCA? What are the colors for each speaker?? what did you use to convert to RCA?
Thank you Jason M. 12-08-1998, 02:56 PM yellow is RF, white is RR, grey is LF, and green LR, brown is the common... You need to get a set of female RCA and solder them onto the leads... I just clipped the plug off of the radio and used the wires.. Piggy back the brown wire from RCA to RCA.. Right now I'm using the aftermarket head unit with the stock BOSE amp and speakers..
Be sure to get the ground loop isolators, or you're going to be hating life..
Jason
|
