Got 94 at $2.78 the other day, I've seen it as low as $2.71 . Our 92 to 94 octane had been up to $3.08 bassed-ndzmorezone5 08-23-2006, 07:36 PM Silver Streakin' 08-23-2006, 07:55 PM

quattrokiwi 08-23-2006, 07:56 PM Yippers® 08-23-2006, 07:59 PM another chunk ... but 17 gallons is running damn close to E BSCA4 08-23-2006, 08:07 PM ex-quattro PETE 08-23-2006, 08:09 PM [tri]liament 08-23-2006, 08:14 PM BJC::wokka wokka 08-23-2006, 10:32 PM I hardly ever see the gas light, i usually fill up before then. I pay 3.00 in Jersey just outside Atlantic city, but when I was in Lake Tahoe California (highest prices in the contiguous United States) I was paying 4.19 for 91 then 4.35 at the highest point last year. Catware 09-08-2006, 09:14 AM Catware 09-08-2006, 09:19 AM I'm one of those that likes to only stop to fill when I need to, and fill it all the way. I've often wondered exactly how much capacity the fuel tank holds, and do a test by letting it run out while driving with a 2 gallon spare gas can, then filling the rest of the way at a gas station. However, I've never gone above 15.6 gal fill, and that's scary for me! I guess I know I can go another 30 miles or so with the extra 1.4 gallons and still have it running :) |
