For those of you in Northern Cali,<br>Can someone recommend a body shop in the SF Bay Area? What are your thoughts on taking it to an independent shop vs. the dealer? Just about every forum archive has this question about a body shop in the SF Bay Area, and I have answered it each time. Maybe this kinda stuff isn't being retrieved when you do a search in the archives, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt. For the record, I have taken my A4 to the following shop:<p>Jack Perkins<br>Automotive Perfection<br>Redwood City, CA<br>650-365-9483<p>He has worked on my friends new Boxster, and both of his BMWs. He also rolled the fender on my A4 (if you know what that is). He is a car-guy that is doing a ground up restoration on a BMW 3.0 CSL (very rare BMW).
