SuperWhite is 55/100;
Plasma is 55/135; closer to sunlight (Xenon's) with a tint of purple
both are priced similarly @ CDN$130.
Concern: The heat generated by plasma might be too much.

Superwhite means wut it says ... Super white (but more like clear), it's very white. Normal halogens are kinda amber-ish color. But those Piaa superwhites are VERY white, thus, making it brighter in a sense (has something to do with the wattage too...)
Plasma Blue looks like, hm ... what Bimmers have. Looks like crystal blue. It's hard to explain ...

The plasma blues uses 55W but the output they generate is equivalent to 100W. The heat generated by the plasma blues is not greater than the stock bulbs.
The plasma blues are not the same price as the superwhites. They are almost double the price. I just ordered 20 sets from Japan so i should know :-)
For you people who haven't seen PIAA Plasma blues in action, they look 99% like Xenons, only not quite as bright.
By the ways guys, i still have 3 sets of the H7 Plasma blues that has no takers, so if you are interested, drop me an email.
David

The easiest way to explain the difference is their wavelength. The Superwhite is rated as 3800K while the Plasma Blue is rated at 5000K. Normal sunlight is somewhere around 5200 to 5300K. So Plasma blue will look a lot whiter than the Superwhite. I've used both of them before and I can tell you the different is quite dramatic.

Will this attract the same attention as the crappy worldlight blue headlights? I am in a tough area for these kinds of things and would rather not waste the money on something that I will have to remove. If they are more like HID then it should be ok.
Chris
