View Full Version : Yellow A4? Michele 10-22-1998, 01:43 PM Hi,
I'm new to the board and about to buy my first A4. It's very bright. Some people really like it, some people don't.
-henri Doug K 10-22-1998, 06:50 PM Michele,
Check out the picture gallery. There are three yellow A4's there. For what my opinion's worth, yellow looks better with nice wheels. JohnS's car (one of the cars in the gallery) sat on the dealer lot for a long time, it had the standard 15" wheels. John upgraded the wheels and it looks much better.
Doug JSB 10-22-1998, 09:23 PM Not for the faint at heart. I've got a 97 yellow on black and get comps all the time. Absolutely zero regrets. Pictures don't do it justice. You must see the color in sunlight to fully appreciate. Some picts of my A4 http://home.earthlink.net/~rmyee/mthmain.htm Tink 10-23-1998, 05:26 AM I love mine. It's definitely a head turner. It's yellow w/ black on black interior.
I stop at lights and occasionally look next to me to see someone look over, then turn to the person next to them to say something, who then leans over and looks. I've had people race to catch me on the freeway for a better look and thumbs up from several people.
OTOH, I got keyed half-heartedly by some SOB - don't know if the color was a contributing factor.
I say go for it.
Tink |
