Two little things, that I would love to hear some comments about:
1. Lowering the windows a crack. Anyone know a method of adjusting the front windows a little bit without triggering the auto-up/down? If I could program it, I would choose to have to double-tap the window button to get the auto-up/down to work. I can never just crack the window open slightly without it going all the way up or down.
2. Anyone else get the resonating wind if you leave the rear windows open and drive around 30mph?
Confession: These are both by-products of having a dog in the back seat. Open windows for the dog, and trying to crack the front windows to correct the resonating wind noise in the cabin.
Thanks for any tips!
Cheers.

Let the window start down, then send it back up, and click stop at just the right time. As far as letting dogs ride in A4s, windows should be the least of your problems. Make sure there is no coffee in the cupholder.
The only way I know of cracking the windows a little bit is to double click down as fast as you can, I can usually get about a 1/2 inch crack or so. I also have noticed the resonating noise with both rears down. I just make sure they are down different amounts.

For #1: Click down once to get the window headed down, click down again to get the
window to stop. The quicker you do the second click, the smaller the crack.
For #2: My solution for the wind resonation is to vent the sunroof. Works great, that is
as long as you have a sunroof.
Corey S
Wett 97 1.8TQM

Corey's A4 Page
