I am thinking about getting a used 3.2 Coupe 6 spd manual (2008 MY seems like was the only available year) for a daily driver (about 20K miles a year). I was wondering how reliable these cars are? I have been around and worked on numerous MK4 R32s and mechanically those cars were quite reliable - are the TT 3.2's pretty solid as well for a DD?

What should I look out for when looking at used ones? I have sent emails to a seller in CA (used car dealer) and a private seller in CT - I want to get a black on black or a grey/black coupe.

My 09 3.2 has 40k, never had any problems except an ignition switch that failed. The mechanics at the dealer I use commonly boat about the 3.2 being solid. I say go for it!

Thanks. Picked up an '08 6MT coupe with 29K single owner miles (black, mag ride, leather, xenons) last week (April 6). Loving the car so far except for the not so great Michelin Primacy tires on 17" wheels. These have to go soon.
