I'm new to this forum. I've been checking it out for a bit now doing some research on the sirius module but can't find any answers.

I have a 2010 A3 TDI premium and thought it came with the sirius module installed but in checking my VIN # sadly it is not. Like many I went to the dealer to get some pricing and they want over $600 for it. I found modules online (E Bay) for half or less than half the dealer price. The problem is I don't know what part # for the module my car can take. The dealer would not tell me the # just the price and that they have to instal it. Does any one know the part # for the 2010 model. All I can seem to find is the 2007 model.

Thanks for any help.

You can use any revision of the Sirius receiver except the original that doesn't have a letter. Here's a web page that lists all of the satellite receivers:

Older model receivers have 2 antenna connections--if you get a dual-antenna receiver you'll need a splitter because your car has a single-antenna lead:

You'll also need to connect the CAN-BUS cabling that goes back to the receiver:

Thanks for the quick reply.

This looks easier to instal than the dealer made it out to be. Ok time to find a module now.

Thanks again for your help!

The part # for the Sirius receiver on my 2010 A3 TDI is 8E0 035 593P, according to VCDS.

I purchased a receiver on e-bay - with shipping it came to 70.00. I then had the dealer install it and do the computer linking with Sirius - the dealer charged me 100.00 and it works like a charm.

Which one did you purchase on e-bay. I can't seem to find anything with the part number8E0 035 593P or any other letter except for just the original no revisions, 8E0 035 593 which I know will not work for my car.

There's a 8E0 035 593 D for sale right now. Also an expensive rev Q.

Just search with "audi sirius".
