I think it depends on what market/country you are in. For example, the A7 is offered with an automatic, self parking system in the European market but not in the USA.

The US A6 has two camera modes; parallel and "between the lines" for normal parking lots. Both are guidance only, you do the parking.

Same with A6 not in US.

The Euro A6 can has full park assist where the driver only controls the pedals and the car does the steering. Very much like--but better than--the much talked about system in the Lexus LS.

Thanks. I was more curious than anything as my car does not arrive before the end of October. I don't think anyone who is willing to buy a car with 310 HP engine would need their car to park itself !
