Are the A6 ventilated seats the same technology as the A8 or are the A8's "cooled" vs simply ventilated?

I drove an A8 today and the seats felt cool, A6 didn't feel as cool on a test drive when on ventilate.

Anyone know if they different with one cooled and the other not?

I believe on the A8 it is connected to the AC ducts on the A6 it pulls ambient air.

I have them and while better than nothing, they are disappointingly weak. I have been hoping for some hack to improve the output.

thanks for the replies, confirmed what I suspected that the A8's are actually cooled, versus ambient air in A6, and a week fan..

That's weak. I can put my hand behind my back and feel lots of air movement with the switch on 2. I don't consider that weak nor can see why you'd need more than what 3 would do. Its 'cooled', not frozen.

Maybe Ill have mine looked, I could easily use a stronger flow. I drove a Carrera last year and the seat vent was significantly better.
