Hi,

I am new to this forum and am wondering if a cheap VCDS or VAG COM cable from ebay will allow my to change the values or will I need a fully licensed copy of Ross Tech?
I don't fully understand what a cheap cable will allow (with I assume the Lite License) in comparison to the fully licensed version of Ross Tech.

I have a 2002 Seat Leon 110 TDi (Drive by wire)

Sorry if this has already been covered I could not find the answer.

If you can get the cheap eBay lead to work in shareware mode with VCDS-Lite, the fully registered version should be fine to perform the [Login - 11] style of CCS activation:

If the cheap lead won't connect properly you may consider going with one of our genuine interfaces instead.
