OEMPlus sells a black grill for the A8 that is apparently on the Non-US TDI A8s. From their pic, however, I cannot tell the difference from the chrome grill. Perhaps members with a TDI A8 can post pics?

I would be surprised if Audi added a deck lid spoiler as there already is an integrated spoiler in the design, albeit subtle like that on the 07 RS4. chances are good that their test vehicles have spent a lot of time at serious speed. If they tack on a spoiler that is not integrated smoothly in the body work I would have no interest in the car.

The one listed on OEMplus still has the chrome outer ring which I'm trying to avoid. It's difficult to tell from the picture but I think their version simply has the horizontals blacked, not the perimeter ring.

Another one of my dealers A8 customers has done their own "black edition" by changing all the chrome to a vinyl type material. They just had a company that specialises in this type of work do it for them.

I did a quick search for "car vinyl wrap" and there are plenty of folks that do it.

Each unto their own I believe.
