Have been noticing a strange thing with NAV using the MMI+ in my new A6...

Whenever I enter a destination and drive there, the NAV recognizes when I arrive. However, the little checkered flag icon on the map does not go away, even after driving elsewhere. I have to manually delete it from the "Tour plan" page under the "Route" tab. Shouldn't your destination clear after you arrive? Kind of annoying to see the little flag on the map that never goes away.

Also wondering about the T-Mobile SIM card for Audi Connect. Works great, but what if T-Mobile doesn't have good coverage in an area? Does Audi Connect ONLY connect through T-Mobile, or does it just need any SIM card that has a data plan? I could clone my ATT SIM card that has unlimited data, and get Audi Connect for free!

Finally, under Data Settings, there is an option to allow Data Roaming. Will this incur any additional charges with T-Mobile? Some nationwide plans offer unlimited data roaming, but it is very nebulous. I don't even know what kind of plan Audi Connect uses.

The flag for waypoints don't appear to go away. I believe this is working as designed. Sorry I can't comment on the data plan.... I just use r-sap which readily works in Europe.

How much data are we allowed is there any chance to go over and have to pay extra for excess data? For $30 per month it should be unlimited but I dont know.

I was wondering the same thing. I hate to spend the extra $30 per month unnecessarily since I already have at least 4 devices (phone, iPad, USB 3G modem and MiFi) that have unlimited mobile broadband already. I'm hoping a way to tether off of one of those presents itself before I get my vehicle.
