Putting the correct size tire of course. Actually swapping the tire from bad 19" to the S5 rim ( split 5 spoke).

2012 A6: 19x8.5 ET45
2011 S5 (split 5-spoke): 19x8.5 ET 32

The S5 split 5-spoke will stick out an extra 13mm. Should be a nice look.

so tried to put on the rims today and the front brake calipers were not cleared. Those things are huge! Too Bad, now have to sell these rims and tires. will post up pics of rear later. upload tool not working.

That's unreal! I can't believe that the A6 brakes are that much bigger than 2010 S4 brakes! There must be something up with that S5 wheel design. Is it an OEM wheel or is it a replica? Since the A6 is offered with 17" and 18" wheel options it shocks me that your S5 wheels wouldn't fit.

Its oem. The concave design of the wheel was getting stuck on a bolt which would not let it turn at all. The rest of the caliper was practically touching inside of the rim. was waaaay to close. Check out the front brakes you'll see.

Was that the only ones you needed? Just a 3mm spacer in the front? How about the back? Also any vibration?
