Does anyone have this exhaust installed?
I emailed achtuning asking for sounds clips and they haven't responded.

Still ZERO response from Achtuning.
How do these company's stay in in business with no effort put into customer service?

I'm interested as well. Inside the cabin and a drive-away clip or two would be helpful.

Skylar from Achtuning responded.

"Hi Paul, we don't have any clips done yet but we should be able to make one as the owner has the exhaust on his B8 A4. I'm not sure how soon we will be able to get it done though.
Thanks!"

I would think the first thing you would want to do is make a sound recording so you can sell and get your investment back asap. You shouldn't knock their customer service after all they finally did tell you.... soon Paul, but don't know how soon.

Agreed. The exhaust was released 10 months ago and still no exhaust clips? ...and the exhaust is on the owners car which would make it all that much easier.

Doesn't make much sense to me.

And to make matters worse, if the owners B8 is a sedan, a video or sound bite won't tell you squat about how it will sound in an Avant. The Avant is one big resonant cavity. If the exhaust drones at the resonant frequency of the interior, you will be in for more sound/vibration than a sedan equipped with the same exhaust.

After 6 exhaust system configurations on my Avant and finally going custom, all I can say is that the B8 Avant is a tough car to equip with an upgraded exhaust that doesn't resonate like crazy. As to the sound outside, they all sound pretty good with a nice blaaaat on upshift under full throttle.

Best of luck!

Would you mind sharing which commercially available systems you had resonence issues with in your Avant?

Thanks!
