View Full Version : S-Line pics, havanah black
jetinder 05-25-2011, 12:16 PM This arrived at my dealers today for a different customer.
I think the 19's aren't quite big enough in terms of look. I don't know if the car has been taken out of transporter mode i.e raised (or if it even has that mode if it's non-air suspension) for shipping. I was told it is SLine and has the extra 10mm lowering sports setup.
Only 4 weeks until ours is built :-)
mistryman 05-25-2011, 01:18 PM I have to agree the 19" don't look right on that car, lets hope the car is still in transporter mode... as I've order 19's on mine
Gear Junky 05-26-2011, 02:17 AM I can't comfirm this as fact but as this car hasn't been PDIed it most likely has the delivery blocks in it's suspension which might have it sitting a little higher than normal and in turn would give the impression that the 19" rims aren't quite filling the arches.

Look at the license plate holders, that should give you a clue.

Also the A1 in the background : )
jetinder 05-26-2011, 11:47 AM sorry, I should have said that I'm in the UK.
My dealer said he saw another black one on the transporter with the 5 spoke rotors, looked spectacular. No pics unfortunately, as that car was destined for another dealer.

damnation!! :)
Oh well, I'll just rock my A4 until Audi wises up and puts a stick shift 3.0L TDI A6 Avant on the order sheet. (this could take a while)
eire42 05-27-2011, 04:35 PM A stick shift A6 TDI in the USA... keep dreaming.

This may not happen at all. My expectation is that A6 will never get manual+quattro from now on.

sadly true.
I doubt we'll ever see sporttronic DSG, either, except maybe in S series cars.
So just to settle out: no wagon, no stick, no TDI, no DSG.
Just a 4 door automatic sedan.
yay.

Probability of this is 99%, but what I wanted to say is slightly different - it looks like even in Europe there will be no quattro+manual A6.
