I missed the first few minutes (plus the kids were screaming), but here's what I gleaned about the new car:
- 70kg lighter than the old one
- New 3.0 twin turbo diesel with 313ps (as expected). I think 0-62mph was quoted at 5.4 secs.
- The new engine is supposed to have a very distinctive sound. Can't wait :-)
- New "birds eye" view of the car from inside the car - similar to some other manufacturers I'd imagine).
- A new feature to do with the proximity of the key where the boot (trunk) opens if you just rub against the rear bumper if you hands are full of shopping for example.
- The luggage cover is electric, so when the tailgate opens and closes, the luggage cover goes up and down with it.
Feel free to add more if I missed something or got something wrong.
