Has anyone seen the A6 in Aviator Blue in person. I've ordered it but as yet haven't seen it and the only pictures I have are these.

Are we SURE that's Aviator Blue, and not one of the Audi Exclusive custom paints? The only real image of seen of Aviator Blue is in the InsideLine video, and it doesn't seem to be as bright as this one...

I'm about to order an A6 in Moonlight Blue myself, and would change to this OTHER blue (from orig. posting), but not at Exclusive prices (guess that's why they call it that, huh?).

Yes, that's Quartz Gray above. The Edmunds car is not Aviator Blue either, it's Dakota Gray. Aviator Blue is a lighter shade.

This was one of the first pics we were discussing. We wanted some confirmation that it was indeed Aviator Blue.

Guys, these two pics are Aviator Blue as is the car tested by Insideline.

The car in the Edmunds track video looks nothing like Aviator Blue to me, all I see is a dark gray, likely Dakota or possibly Oolong Gray. There's a slight bluish tint coming from reflections of the blue sky.

Thanks for the research, kenbo78! Now I'm changing from Moonlight Blue to Aviator Blue as well.

It boggles my mind that it's so tough to find real pictures of real cars...too many dealers are too lazy to post GOOD pictures (why bother, when you have generic computer-generated images), and the manufacturers don't help either, when the only pics they put on the websites (or brochures) are of the same handful of colors. Suspect they don't want to make the online car hunt experience too easy and complete, and want to drag you into the dealership for the eyes-on-target encounter.

Had a really hard time getting reliable pictures due to the cars still being partially wrapped up, dirty, and the sun setting in the early evening. Not sure if these are going to hurt or help figuring out the colors!

As you can see - light wasn't all that good! The indoor pictures earlier in this thread are pretty close... Hopefully a cleaned up Moonlight Blue will be posted (as that's the color I ordered!). I saw earlier pictures of an A7 in Moonlight Blue and it looked great!

This pics hasn't do justest to this color. I saw one last week and in reality nothing close to this pics.
If any one familiar with BMW Monaco blue color - Moonlight blue is very close to Monaco Blue.

Thanks for the pics BASF, the outdoor pics make the blue look more like gray. Aviator blue in those outdoor pics looks alot like Quartz gray. Perhaps the Edmunds test car was Moonlight Blue?

The car in the Edmunds video is definitely Aviator Blue I am sure of it. Quartz Grey is too light to be mistaken for it and Moonlight Blue is too dark and too blue as well, Aviator is the only one that fits.
