Apparently this is under review to formalize Sales/Marketing like BMW does. Today, about 200 cars/day are ordered this way for Euro dealers. My Audi guy was there for better part of a week
recently.

Wonder if Audi would allow you to choose from the full option list for a car ordered/delivered this way? Or would one still be limited to the short list that Audi "allows" the U.S. market to have....

About time... since the current program is at the dealers discretion. I contacted several dealers in the North East and none were willing to participate in ED for an A7.

Audi does not allow for full options list. All US A7s are made in Neckasulm in Germany and to US specs. Doesn't matter if you pick up the car here or in Germany.

Ingolstadt. 42,000 employees. Very Centralized.

All A7s are made in Neckarsulm, Audi's 2nd German factory. The 11th digit in the VIN is the factory code and for the A7 its "N" for Neckarsulm
