Here's three shots taken about a week after I picked mine up back in February. While the pics aren't good, they do give a good feel for the color which is more of a chocolate brown than grey. However the color tends to shift with the lighting. Sometimes it looks black and other times I can detect a hint of green (hence "oolong")

Since these shots were taken I've layered the body up with Klasse All-In-One and Klasse sealant, which have added more depth and richness to the color.

I see the brown leather on the UK site and I like it but it's not an option on the US models. If we had the choice, I think that it would be a toss up for me if there was no price diff. But with the price, I'd probably stay with black as I think it's fine.

This is a link to a photo in which you can see the nougat brown instrument cowl...just wonder if brown starts to make the car look a bit "lexus" like as opposed to Teutonic german????

Oops... I was looking at the TTS interior offerings, not the TT. I see it now and like it. I might have preferred that to all black. Anyhow either would work for me.

I found these from the 2010 auto show introducing the 2011 TT...AND I have ordered a 2012 just like it!

That will be sharp indeed. And once you get some miles on it, you might want to go to the dark side and do a stage one flash on the ecu. The EA888 engine becomes an absolute torque monster with a reflash :)
