I have not found on the website audiusa.com but in Europe it is possible to pay called Audi exclusive price is 2250-2800 Euro (3250 $ -4000 $).
You can choose the color and shade that you do you want

Dealer in South FL also told me you can order any color for an additional $2,XXX...

What I've also heard is that you can choose any color that you want, but it's more expensive than that and takes a lot longer to produce the car.

I do not know why Audi of America has offered only 7 colors standard.
In Europe and the Middle East has to offer 12 colors standard

I ordered a S5 cab with the Audi exclusive color Red pearl at a cost of $6000. Car is built
and now I wait for delivery.

Some Audi Exclusive colors do cost $6K such as the widely used Ipanema Brown on auto show cars. One can also order pretty much any Audi color which will only cost $2XXXK. Say you want your Q5 in Monza Silver--an A4 and A5 color--you would only pay the $2K price.

Now I called a friend who works in the company Audi and asked him for the orange color for Q5 and got a reply that they do not have that color.
I have reviewed Audi exclusive 88 different color and there is no orange color.

I thought you could pay $2500 for any color that was in Audi's previous catalog. As long as that was a stock color for any car.

That's different that picking Audi exclusive colors.

I'm not sure I would pay $6000 for a paint charge. $2500 is not too unreasonable.

Metallic is $475 anyway, so it nets out to under $2000 for a custom paint when you factor that in.

It makes sense the Q5 is an SUV which in turn would be something for a majority of people that have a family. Not too many people in the category would want a flashy color like that.

As far as the US, you can buy a euro, mex, can, etc model and import it in. It will probably cost you more in import taxes than what you paid for the car and if you have that much money to blow you're probably not looking at a Q5 anyways.

Three years are not long in ANY circumstance.
No matter if the s4 is a B7 or B8 model. What matters it is a special order/custom color. Same with the Q7. The main point of this thread is COLOR yet you keep mentioning design changes.

There is no link. Talk to your local dealer. The color would need to be approved by a regional Audi representative.

I apprecatite all the feedback-- we ended up with the standard Brilliant Black with Beige Interior - PP pkg with B&O and Naviagtion options..

Yeah, I went to see it during my lunch break. The first thing my salesman told me is "You're coming to see the pumpkin?" LOL. With black wheels and the Black Styling package, it would be pretty sweet. But still too much "bling" for me...

Yesterday, coming home between Dallas and OKC, I saw a TT that was the most beautiful burnt orange--almost red color! It had a dealership tag (Pacific Audi) where the licence plate should have been, so I figured it was being driven to it's transfer destination.
