I got my hand on a virtually new turbo.
Its a K26-2470.
The interesting part: part number is:
5326 999 0131

the middle 999 indicates 'racing', and I therefore don't have the application this type was used for.

From KKK 'lingo' I derive:

24 = 2.4" diameter for the compressor exducer (61mm)
70 = compressor inducer is 70% the diameter of the exducer (42.7mm)

Wheels look nothing like I have seen on 'standard' K26. Super rugged turbine.

Any idea what it was used for?

Post or PM if interested (may not have use for it).

Looks like it hasn't been used at all.

The '999' race turbos found new home and are gone.
The last (brand new "old stock") was professionally taken apart, inspected, cleaned and reassembled: optically and technically brand new (just can't be the original KKK quality anymore, specifically the 999 version (special wheels, materials).

I will get more details on the (a bit more 'standard') K27-3070 and/or K27-2970, and the K26-xxxx I still have around.

Let me know if you have use for one of them.
