I'll be honest, it's a car for my wife, so she picked the colors ;-))
No idea where we're gonna go. I was thinking Munich, Berlin, visit family in Poland, then Prague/Chech rep. maybe Vienna, maybe Italy. And probably dropoff back in Munich. But we'll see. But I guess it's time to start planning ;-)
One thing I want to make sure first is that I can pick it up in July. That's the only time I can go to Europe.

Did you tell this to your salesman? For my July ED I sign on all papers on April 1 and paid on June 6.
Check with Audi ED what country get covered by Audi insurance.
Here one of variants of my ED.
Another one after Italy drive to Monaco and Nice and drop off in Nice. OR
drive from Nice to Paris and drop off in Paris. and the reasons for this - will be 4 of us - train tickets between Nice and Paris will cost me $400 at list if not more. Better drive 2 days (stop in Lion for night) - even with hotel, food and gas will be cheaper then take a train.

That's a nice itinerary.
Yeah I told that to my sales guy. I also talked to Audi of America.
AoA said I need to place the order by March to ensure July pickup.
They estimate 60 days for production and then I have 60 days to pick it up. (and that supposedly can be extended if communicated with AoA. That gives me 4 months to pick it up. So I'm assuming I should be good for July 4th.

Thanks for the info, will definitely take it under consideration. One thing I know for sure is that I will have to spend 4-5 days in Poland, we're Polish, and last time we were there was like 12 years ago, so it's time to re-visit ;-)

Congrats, man.

If it isn't too much to ask, could you let us know as things progress? I'm trying to figure out the timeline of ED orders this years given what I've heard about how long regular orders are taking. I wonder if they impact ED orders as well.

Thanks!
