Karen: There's really no reason for a dealer not to give you the order number for your car so that<br>you can track it. I'm sure that some dealers would give you the double-talk runaround on this, <br>but as far as I'm concerned, it's the ONLY tangible thing that I can offer to someone who has ordered a car and is patient enough to wait. Besides, it makes my job that much easier when a customer calls for an update: "What's your request<br>number? Oh, it's just gone to 'F-status'."
