After owning 6 Audi's the one thing I always loved was the heated seats in the winter. You could fry an egg on them. My heated seats in my S5 Cab are weak at best. I called Audi and they did conform what I thought, they turned them down in March of 09. Does anybody body know if a VAG could help or how to get them hotter? Other than that the cab is fantastic!

I dont know if this is an urban-myth or what, but someone told me that the excessive seat temps in VW/Audi systems was causing yeast infections in women.

I've noticed the same with my S5... the seats get only moderately warm at the highest setting. Now that we are coming to winter, I have a feeling this will become a bit more annoying very shortly. :)

It's a shame I love driving with the top down in 40* weather but the seats are equal to the old 3 seating at best. I am sure there is a way to turn them up. I hope someone will find a way for us Northerners.


I spoke with Audi, they did say they lowered it but will look into it and see how many people complain.

I have noticed this too! On my previous two audis, the seats got nice and hot, on my S5, I feel like I can barely feel the heat. I thought it was just the nicer leather they were using!
