What is VAGKRAFT:
Vagkraft is a car show which attracts every year thousands of people and is also very popular amongst the folks from
the Montreal area. Held annually in the greater Toronto area Vagkraft is Canada's leading VW/Audi event. Some of the
attractions include autoslalom, dyno, exhibition area, show car competition, sound off, and burn out competitions.
This year’s show is a 1 day event held on Sunday August 22 at Downsview Park, Toronto, ON. The Show hours are
from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Rain or Shine

• General Admission - $5.00 at the gate
• Children under the age of 5 - FREE
• Parking - FREE Event

Registration fees:
$30 for the first event and $10 for each additional event excluding dyno which is $45.

What is Rally 600 West:
Departing from the world famous Orange Julep in Montreal, the riders will leave Montreal Saturday August 21st at noon
and ride as a pack to Downsview park, ON. The riders will drive approx 600km by following the 401 from Montreal.
Saturday night we will arrive and meet at the Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn with all the other out of towners and party.
The Vagkraft show starts Sunday morning at 9am and ends at 5pm (rain or shine). The return will be up to you guys
as we are not responsible for the return trip home.

To participate you will need to own a Volkswagen/Audi/Porsche (or know a friend who does), be at least 18 years old,
fill up a registration form and bring it to the orange julep (7700 Decarie) at euro night meets every Tuesdays after 8pm.

After registering and paying $25 admission fees you will receive on morning of departure
•The rally’s official vinyl for you to put on your car
• A detailed map of the route that we will be taking
• A free DVD who will be released after the event

The hotel booking will be up to you as VAGKRAFT already offers special hotel rates for the people attending the event.
Mention VAGKRAFT when booking and receive a special show rate.

I was told that this event is very popular amongst the VW folks but i have heard
no echo's what so ever from the vw forums..i guess the monster isn't awake yet!!!

Hotel registrations should be done as soon as possible because even tho they are two hotels to choose from they already have complete entire booked floors.

this is canada's number one event and it's just on are door step.
it's only 600k from mtl and has easy access through TO. to the event.
if you think your car cant make the trip or that gas prices are to expensive hop in a mate's car for the ride and share expenses.

with the help of the Unitronic crew, the rally will be filmed with semi-pro HD cameras and the video will be given FREE to all participants after the event.

Sunday morning before going to Vagkraft at 9am, the Southern Ontarian Golden Horse Shoe Audi Club will come meet with the participants of the 600 West rally.

we are planing a meet at the Comfort Inn hotel and a group ride to the Vagkraft show.
it might be a short drive but it will definitely be worth while because rare are the opportunities to meet clubs from other provinces.
it will be a perfect occasion to film the ride and maybe shoot some of the cars before the Vagkraft show, the footage will then be added to the rally's DVD.

we will meet around 9am, have time to talk and go on are own pace.
