I somehow misplaced my owner's manual, but have a question on the outside light setting. The dial for the outside lights - in the top position - it's DRL only, in the Auto position - the headlights come on at a certain darkness level. In the next position, what lights are supposed to come on? - because other than the DRL, none do. In the last position - headights come on.
2nd question, my backup camera does not come now on when I am in reverse. Is there a setting that I can adjust, or is this a "dealer/service" issue?

Top position is off and the as you go CW, its auto, parking light, intrustment lights and DRL and the last position is all on. The camera is suppose to come on when in reverse, but if you try to adjust something else while in reverse, it may override the camera.

If its the same as EU version, in the last position you have to pull it out stage 1 to add rear fogs stage 2 front and rear fogs.

The US version of the Q5 have buttons for the front and rear fog lights which I like a lot better than the pull out controls on my A6.

In the parking position, your rear lights and corner markers should be on too. In the off position, the front DRLs are on but everything else is off.
