Hey-o,
So, I bought my Audi several years ago, and am now moving to France. I want to take the car with me, but have no idea how to get it there on the cheap. Any thoughts?

Be aware that you are going to have the car conform to French specifications .
They are very picky but the good point is the car was made in europe and was probably sold in France at some point .
The first example is NO red blinker there ,they are orange ,if your car has xenon light ,you must have the washer ,seatbelt sometime but I dout it on recent cars .
The company used by Audi ,BMW,volvo,Mercedes in Harms .
I guess if you are in Chicago ,your car will go from Houston to Rotterdam and then truck to France .

If I was in your situation - I will sold my car in US and get another one in France to avoid all headache with French regulation.

Audi are very expensive in france .
an Audi 2010 S4 in France cost 70000 euros ,it's $85000 .outch.
Some math needs to be done and I do not know what type of Audi you have ,may a special one .
If I were you ,I will also sell the car in the US and buy a Turbo Diesel (75% of french drive diesel car) .
Regular gas is very espensive there ,diesel gas is less and use less gas.
you can buy A4 6 cylinder tubo diesel 240 hp .
