My dealer is offering the standard 5% off MSRP for Overseas Delivery of a 2011 A4. Is anyone getting better offers. Also, have you been able to get the destination fee waived for OSD.

For Audi and BMW it's ED- European Delivery. There are no rules (as I know) for AUDI ED price. Audi web site state 5% off MSRP. Some members state that this is a 5% off what ever you can negotiate with your dealer. About fee waived - why would Audi do that? You pay destination fee for any car sold in US, even domestic. Your car have has to transported to the port, shipped to US and the from US port to your dealership. K2audi 05-15-2010, 08:33 PM Getting anything over 5% is hard. I have only heard of 1 person myself negotiating a better deal than what Audi outlines in the program. As for the destination fee being waived, I was able to get mine waived based on the same reasons Volvo does, that it is now a used car you are shipping back and for the most part there really isn't a lot of dealer prep that needs to happen, plus my wife and I were the first to do Audi's ED back in Dec. 2006 and this part of the program was still a little hazy at that time. Getting out of it now will prove to be difficult as it is in the language that buyer pays Destination Fee's. Good luck and let us know what you decide...either way, it is a trip of a lifetime and you won't regret it. |
