Anyone know where this is located on the car? If anyone has one for sale, that's even better. Im getting EGR code and i figured i'd buy a new one, but they are $250+. Could i clean the old one?

There are some old threads that show how to do it. It took me about 3 hours to do, I think it was supposed to be a 1.5 to 2 hour job...I may just be slow. I took out my O2 sensor to give me a little more room to get at the 22 mm. nut that holds it to the exhaust manifold. I accessed it thru the driver side fender well and removed the rubber flap. The EGR is on the back side of the motor and has a diaphragm with an electric line running to it. rs4tech 03-01-2010, 01:00 PM i have never seen one of those valves fail...it is usually just carbon buildup inside the valve and intake manifold, clean it out and keep on driving...
