View Full Version : anyone know the weight of a 3B flywheel? alpinab7 12-09-2009, 04:19 PM I searched but can't find it. 1stturbo 12-09-2009, 04:39 PM You're searching the wrong forum...there was a discussion over there not too long ago. Stock, the 3B FW was quotted as being 17.8lbs. alpinab7 12-09-2009, 05:59 PM Thanks. I searched all AW. Maybe I should try FW instead of flywheel. alpinab7 12-09-2009, 05:59 PM BTW, anyone here running an Aluminume flywheel? Thoughts? 1stturbo 12-10-2009, 11:03 AM No, I mean over there...the place you can't mention here. Email me if that doesn't get you there. type44 12-12-2009, 05:22 PM Ive been runnin a 10.5lb aluminum fw from 2bennett for years, I give it two thumbs up. Quick reving, some additional noise/vibration from stock, but nothing major. alpinab7 12-13-2009, 04:11 PM Just found a new Fidanza for $250. Should be here in a couple days. lmelvin 12-15-2009, 11:32 AM I searched but can't find it. 034 Motorsport actually has a lightweight steel flywheel that's only a couple of pounds more than their aluminum one and it's supposed to be stronger and less noisy than the aluminum but still way less power robbing than stock. I believe its around 14 lbs and their alum. is 12 or somewhere in that ballpark. Please don't quote me on these weights but I spoke to Dan at 034 in person last week and he really likes this flywheel. |
