Replaced my Michelin Pilot Alpin snows which I also liked, but were done. At the end of last winter, there wasn't enough tread for another season. Since I didn't need the A6 much this summer I just left them on.
I put the Conti ExtremeWinterContact on my A6 2.7T Sport only a few weeks now, I am really impressed so far.
On the dry: Quiet, smooooth rolling, no squirm and track very straight
In the wet: Deliberately went puddle hopping and through known deep truck ruts with no loss grip.
In the snow, slush and ice: No chance to test (yet!) but the tread pattern looks pretty agressive and with heavy siping, don't expect any issue here.
They are a relatively new tire, so thought I'd share my pleasure with them (so far.) Was going to go to Buffalo and get them from TR but bought them locally at OK (Etobicoke) for just about the same price.
That is all!
