4140 (aka 41.40) gives you a track (song) level display with MMI, may cleans up some bluetooth issues, probably fixes some French language police (think Quebec requirements) menu omissions, and maybe kills the MMI defeatable TPMS earlier versions had (perhaps to comply retroactively with required US vehicle equipment rules). Audi documents vertually none of this though; just vague references on the bluetooth issue, framed really just as improving phone compatibility. Could just be documentation shortcuts, or could be they quietly had to fix some compliance issues.

I am able to get a track level screen using MMI 33.60 (by selecting "info" in the "control" display). Can you post a picture of the track/song level display you are referring to?
