Hi guys, I just picked up a 2008 Audi A8 for a pretty good deal. I have experienced some rattling coming from my front end when Im going over bad bumpy roads (Easy to hear with windows down). I took it to the dealer and one of the older "experienced" techs said the noise was coming from the brake pads and that it was somewhat normal. they greased up my brakes to prevent the noise when making contact but I can still hear the noise, just not as bad as before.
This isnt really a big deal but I just feel that its a pretty expensive car to be making any noises at all. I really just wanted to know if any of you experience the same noise when on bad roads.
Thank in advance.

Mines it at the shop now for that and other reasons. The SA told me that it was the sound dampers that goes on the front brake somewhere. I am not sure where though.
