Well, I know it's been a long friggen time since i've posted any updates,so here it goes:
I've got the 2+ chip from ben swann sitting in storage just waiting to be soldered in, but before that I have a little list of things to do:
get things tuned up a little smoother
figure out WTF is wrong with my IAT sensor
change my trans fluid, including putting some type F in
change my diff oil..
oh and one of these days I need to charge my AC, I never had a chance to see if my AC compressor repair worked.
and I'm sure there's a craptastical amount of other things i need to do, which is why i'm going to drive her around for a little while after getting the above list done before chipping...
but yea, I finished getting my gauges mounted today
got the a-pillar mount molded reasonably well, and doing a mock-up w/ the boost gauge...

Getting things in place for the boost gauge, including the wires for the lights..

NB AFR gauge ready to go in again
http://lh3.ggpht.com/_duTocl0oaD4/SrlT3OER7EI/AAAAAAAAArg/x6T27eWKCac/s800/DSC00773.JPG
everything in place
http://lh4.ggpht.com/_duTocl0oaD4/SrlT32-vSvI/AAAAAAAAArk/bi9oGj8S7TU/s800/DSC00774.JPG
lots of wires
http://lh3.ggpht.com/_duTocl0oaD4/SrlT4wnS3II/AAAAAAAAAro/O9EDENK2pQs/s800/DSC00775.JPG
safety first :P

sharing a ground with my keyless entry for both gauges

ashtray light wires
http://lh3.ggpht.com/_duTocl0oaD4/SrlT72oeQ1I/AAAAAAAAAr4/Uv79X0W_LmM/s800/DSC00779.JPG
now spliced

A little snip in the ecu vac line
http://lh3.ggpht.com/_duTocl0oaD4/SrlT86vuobI/AAAAAAAAAsA/QRFyXKa2SAs/s800/DSC00781.JPG
from this point i finished running the plastic line, ran a 7/64 rubber line to a tee put in the ecu line, sealed/zip tied all the connections and made everything all neat.
http://lh6.ggpht.com/_duTocl0oaD4/SrlT9w194BI/AAAAAAAAAsM/v1r3UPqUjLY/s800/DSC00783.JPG
then i traced out where the O2 signal wire connects to the ecu and then slid the feed wire for the AFR gauge into that terminal. I didn't feel comfortable actually splicing it into the ECU wire...
i'm getting about 20in vac at idle at ~6psi max boost, which sounds good to me...
quick vid I made... oh yea, that reminds me I need to tighten my alt belt
