It is my opinion that due to the fact that the front fenders are not made of metal, and are made of a flexible material, they do not flow perfectly with the door when viewing reflections down the side of the car. The plane of the door is flat while the plane of the fender is angled towards the wheel. Has anyone else noticed this?

If the front fenders are not metal, what are they? Look at the crash video, they are awful bent up to not be metal.

I believe they are a composite of some resins and possibly metals. You can push in on the fender below the V8 badge and it will flex in and out.
