I called some of the car rental places in Germany, and Avis told me that if you call the airport directly, they might be able to reserve a specific vehicle for you. They do rent Audi A8's (please be aware that they might be 6 cylinder or Diesel models).

The AVIS station at the airport is: +49 - 89 - 9759 7600

They are open from 6 am to 11 pm (central European time, about 6 - 9 hours ahead of US time zones, depending on where you are).

This won't be cheap ... but I did this some years ago, and doing 155 mph+ on the Autobahn with my girlfriend sleeping on the passenger seat was just plain awesome ... I got a 4.2L back then, but they have 7 different engines available in Europe (incl. the W12 and the S8), so you might get a different engine from the V8 FSI ...
